Court Cards — Page, Knight, Queen & King

Each suit has four court cards — Page, Knight, Queen and King. They often represent people in your life, or attitudes and stages of maturity. Learning the four ranks makes the 16 court cards far easier to read.

The four ranks

Page = a beginner, a message, fresh curiosity. Knight = action and movement, pursuing a goal. Queen = mastery through care and inner depth. King = mastery through authority and outward command. The suit colours each with its element.

People or energy?

Court cards can point to an actual person (by their personality), or to an energy you're embodying. Read the rank for the attitude and the suit for the area of life it touches.
